This Privacy Policy explains how Darrul (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use darrul.com and our coaching services.

Information we collect

• Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, application answers, quiz responses, messages, and information you upload to your client portal (such as account statements and worksheets).
• Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Usage information: basic technical data such as pages visited, device type, and approximate location, collected via privacy-respecting analytics.

How we use your information

• Provide coaching services, build plans, and communicate with you
• Send your requested content (like the Money Checkup PDF) and, if you opt in, email updates
• Process payments and maintain business records
• Improve our services and website
• Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations

AI tools

We may use AI-assisted tools to help draft summaries, categorize transactions, and prepare plan drafts. Drafts are reviewed by a human coach before anything is shared with you. We do not send your information to AI providers for model training, and we use service-provider terms that restrict how your data can be processed.

How we share information

• Service providers that help us operate: email (Kit, Resend), payments (Stripe), scheduling (Cal.com), secure documents and client portal, website hosting (Vercel), and analytics. These providers may process data only to deliver their services to us.
• Licensed partners, with your consent: if you ask for an introduction to a mortgage, insurance, or investing professional, we share the information you provide in that request with the relevant partner so they can contact you.
• Legal reasons: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share securities-transaction information — we never have it.

How we protect information

Statements and planning documents go through a secure client portal — never email attachments. We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication, and a written information-security program. We retain coaching records for at least three years after your engagement ends (longer where tax or accounting rules require it), then delete or de-identify them.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@darrul.com. We will verify your identity and respond within applicable legal timeframes.
• If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under California law.

Children

Our services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
